Marching on...

Hello and welcome!

Please forgive our absence...

We've been busy little bees right through February with new spring orders.

Phew!

~ and before we've had time to catch our breath

we've 'marched' right into a brand new month.

The shop window just now

in view of Mothering Sunday approaching..

The shop looks pretty full.

With lots and lots to tempt purses of every size!

Just as we know you like to see it.

This very weekend in the UK

we celebrate all that is wonderful about our

special Mothers!

We will be serving afternoon tea and cakes

to all our little visitors ( big or small) who pop through the door

to choose a special gift for their lovely Mum....

It's just a way of saying Thank you!

As we really appreciate your visits to the Hive.

We would like to wish you a wonderful weekend.

And don't forget we spring forward with our clocks tomorrow evening!

Hip pip hooray!

The days will be a just that little bit longer...

Love Is In The Air....

February's window display here at the hive just now...

A big cheery

HELLO

from all at Bumble Bee!
We can't quite get our heads around
the simple fact that it is

~ February, the month of Love, already!!

Goodness..

~ I wonder just how that happened?

Although we've been a 'tad' bit busy here in the shop..
With all the January sales and all...
Christmas seems, far, far away....
and we can't help but feel

a little 'springy' in our step just now...

We've been busy bees looking for new pieces to fill the shop with a fresh new springy feel.

~ Ooh and there's lots of old ~ new pretty painted pieces too..
looking to be re ~ loved once more..
A touch of pink, maybe?
Delightful for that boudoir with an old-y world-y feel..
who could resist?

AND
With thoughts of LOVE all around us...

We have just the ticket ~
Tokens quite simply from the heart.

For that special someone.

They are sure to make their heart miss a beat or two.

We also promised you a little peek at 'Bee'....

Remember her?

Well she's not quite so little any more...

Below is the field (her play ground at home)

Where she takes her walks each day....

~ The ground so deep with rain fall, that each dog walk

is more like a great big 'doggie paddle' just now..

~ Bee is always more than happy

to jolly well jump on in..

Hmm....contemplating!

~ Should I or shouldn't I?

And the object of her desire ....

has extra special love to share
for everyone...

She's a great big 'softie' at heart and wouldn't hurt a fly!

She doesn't have the gift of hearing you see.

Yes, she was born completely deaf.

But that doesn't stop her grabbing life by all four paws and

truly living!!

Exciting Times.....

We've lots and lots to get excited about here at Bumble Bee.

A shiny bright new year for one.

This will include another exciting adventure for us...
"The Hive tea room and coffee shop"!
It's going to be a place to sip tea and have a bite to eat
~ In the cosiest of cosy environment...
A place to take time out and just 'bee'!!
There will be lots more about this on our future posts!!

Last year we closed the door on the old shop and hopped, skipped

and jumped over the road to the new!

We had the most wonderful opening day

with lots of lovely peeps popping in to wish us well and of

course going home with a twinkle in their eye and a brown paper bag filled to the brim

with loveliness!

At The Hive..

Summer was just the best ever...

and Autumn came along quickly with all her traditions.

Witches were seen to be merry making

in our window displays...

~ You could hear their shrieks of laughter all the while....

Awwwww
Then there was the arrival of 'little Bee'...
who incidentally isn't quite so 'little' any more..

You could fill your boots with Christmas

in the first few weeks of advent...

~ You really could...

But all's well that ends well..
There's possibly only a smudging of the festive stuff left in our January sale with most of Christmas going out the shop to new homes...

Ooh, Christmas was a busy old time at The Hive...

and we'd like to say a big

Thank you

to all who popped through our doors...

We really do appreciate your visits!

We like to add most of the 'cheeky' Maileg elves have now been re-homed!

They caused quite a stir in our Christmas window displays...

(Including good old Papa Elf

who did a marvellous job of keeping the others all in check!)

We wish them well...
